Ed.D. graduates will be equipped to:
- Examine and evaluate organizational behaviors and leadership effectiveness within a wide spectrum of industries and types in order to cultivate contextual intelligence (CI).
- Apply previous learning as well as to conduct new ethical research with the aim of being able to apply this knowledge to address new opportunities and challenges.

Comprehensive Experience
This course prepares administrators for gaining insight into identifying the barriers that exist within organizations that mitigate opportunities for diversity and inclusion. Students will survey the effects of culture on administrative strategies and actions, and policies and procedures. They will analyze strategies for leveraging diversity to promote greater organizational inclusivity and productivity. Ethical considerations and motivation for diversity are emphasized.
This course assesses the student's knowledge of the theoretical foundations in organizational administration. Students will identify and answer research questions by integrating and synthesizing knowledge from a broad range of content areas covered in the first two years of study.
Students will examine techniques and strategies that promote strategic data-driven decision making for effective administration and fostering innovative behaviors. Models for collecting, analyzing, and using organizational data effectively will be evaluated, and tactics for enhancing both collective and individualistic decision-making will be examined.

I have 9-years of higher education experience as an associate professor, program director, department chair and curriculum course developer for online education in educational leadership, research methods, curriculum and instruction and early childhood education. In addition to holding my Ed.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy, I am certified in K-12 Administration, K-8 Teacher Education, P-3 Early Childhood Education and 4-12 English. I have 20-years’ experience as a k-12 practitioner, specifically as a teacher, curriculum trainer, and in school leadership and administration.
