Master of Science in Kinesiology

The Master of Science in Kinesiology program at CBU offers an advanced study of Kinesiology designed to enhance preparation for discipline-related careers. This interdisciplinary degree integrates the science of human movement, the practice of relevant research methods and the advanced studies of fitness and wellness. The program includes academic as well as practical experiences in the student’s chosen area of study.


In addition to regional accreditation through WSCUC, the Master of Science in Kinesiology program is recognized by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). Curriculum is aligned with NSCA standards and prepares students for the Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) exam. This highly recognized professional certification, along with a master’s degree in Kinesiology, gives individuals a competitive edge in health, fitness and athletic performance settings.
