Synchronous, asynchronous, three and four year options are available to meet the needs of professionals currently serving in administration, athletics, business, church ministry, education (K-12 and higher education), government, non-profit, and public health organizations and institutions.

Culture and Sociology of Organization

This course evaluates the sociological and cultural aspects associated organizational life and one’s own personal and professional development.

Creative and Effective Decision Making

Students will evaluate common reasoning fallacies and biases that make for flawed decisions and develop more robust and creative decision making strategies and processes that meet the needs of the situation.

Leadership Ethics, Virtues and Practices

This course evaluates various ethical frameworks and worldviews with an emphasis on the Christian worldview in order to promote ethical and virtuous leaders.

The Leadership Institute was established to collaborate with the various colleges and schools at California Baptist University to:

  • Create and host customized leadership development modules, seminars, camps, and retreats for local, regional, national, and international leaders serving in a variety of ministries, organizations, and governmental agencies.
  • Develop and coordinate formal mentoring networks and curriculum for emerging and established leaders.
  • Provide scholarships for students in the undergraduate and graduate programs in leadership studies.
  • Discover and disseminate original research and best practices related to leadership from special and general revelation.
  • Host forums and develop publications that promote wise debate and judicious engagement on critical social issues.
