Military students receive personalized guidance on financial aid options, including scholarships, grants, and loans, to supplement their benefits and make higher education more affordable.
CBU is an approved Student Veterans of America (SVA) chapter. SVA is an inclusivity seeking organization dedicated to the promotion of student veterans, active duty, and military dependents. Its goal is to be actively involved in the larger campus and local community in the service of others and in advocacy for those who have served their country in military service and the families and friends that support/supported them.
The VRC at CBU is designed to be a dedicated place student veterans can both obtain administrative support and just relax and study. Here, veterans can interact with one another and obtain important information to enhance their academic journey.
My experience at CBU has been exceptional. In the majority of my classes, my professors prayed before each class session and added the book to most of the curriculum, which made me glad I chose (CBU), this path, more than another college. I hope that it has set precedence to be instilled within me to carry out the same when I head overseas to start my teaching career. I am very stoked to have had this opportunity, and I hope that more Veterans take advantage of what CBU has to offer us during our transitions.
