DID YOU KNOW AT SOME SCHOOLS STUDENTS INTERACT WITH TEACHER ASSISTANTS MORE THAN PROFESSORS?

CBU faculty are here to teach, first and foremost.

I am passionate about healthcare and education. I started my career as a radiologic technologist and immediately knew I had chosen the right career path. It was a perfect fit because I love helping people. I realized I could help people on a much larger scale by furthering my education, so I went back to school for a master’s in healthcare administration. Then, God directed me to go into education so that I could provide others with the foundation I was given.

Mark DeHaro, D.H.S.c.

Prior to pursuing a teaching career, I worked as an X-ray technologist and a jet mechanic for several years. As a teacher, I can use my experience to help students achieve their goals. I love that CBU allows professors to pray before class and share how the ministry of Christ correlates with caring and quality patient care. A cool thing: my wife, Lurner, and I were Newlywed Game winners. We celebrated 47 years of marriage in 2017.

Morris Hunter, M.Ed.

I started the journey toward radiologic sciences after my mother was diagnosed with cancer from a medical imaging exam. I felt the need to give back and contribute to the field that gave my mother a great chance at survival. As a radiologic technologist, I have traveled to Washington, D.C. and lobbied on Capitol Hill, proudly advocating for the profession of radiology. As a teacher, I have the honor of being a part of students' paths just as my teachers were for me.
